Cookie policy
Last updated 23 September 2026
This website is designed to work without cookies. Nothing is stored on your device unless you choose to accept analytics, and this page explains exactly what happens if you do.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. Similar technologies, such as browser local storage, can hold information in the same way. UK law (the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, alongside the UK GDPR) requires us to tell you what we use and, for anything that is not strictly necessary, to ask for your consent first.
2. What this site uses
| Name | Type | Purpose | Set when | Lasts |
|---|---|---|---|---|
llg-cookie-consent | Local storage (strictly necessary) | Remembers whether you accepted or declined analytics so we do not ask on every page | Only when the consent banner is shown and you make a choice | Until you clear it or change your choice |
| Analytics cookies | Optional | Aggregated usage measurement (section 3) | Only after you click Accept | See section 3 |
The site's fonts, images and scripts are all served from our own domain. Viewing this site makes no request to any third party, and no third party can set a cookie through it, unless you accept analytics.
Current status: analytics is not enabled on this website. No cookies are set, the consent banner is not shown, and the consent preference above is never written. If we enable analytics in future, this page and the banner will be updated first.
3. Analytics
If analytics is enabled, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are visited and how visitors reach the site. It runs only after you accept the banner. Google sets cookies beginning _ga that last up to two years and identify your browser to distinguish visits. We configure it with IP anonymisation and do not enable advertising features. Google's own description of how it uses data is at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Declining has no effect on how the site works.
4. Your choices
- On this site: use the Cookie settings link in the footer to change your choice at any time. Choosing Decline after accepting stops further analytics collection; cookies already set by Google will expire or can be removed in your browser.
- In your browser: every modern browser lets you block or delete cookies and site data. Blocking everything will not affect this site.
5. Third-party sites
This site links to our product website at ask-milo.com, to Companies House and to LinkedIn. Those sites have their own cookie and privacy policies, which apply once you leave this one.
6. Changes
We will update this page before we change what the site stores, and revise the date at the top.
