This policy covers:
- this website, landmarklearninggroup.com;
- enquiries you send us by email, through the contact form or by post;
- our dealings with investors, advisers, suppliers and business partners; and
- our corporate social media presence, such as our LinkedIn page.
It does not cover our product, MILO, which is provided to business customers under its own terms. How MILO handles the personal data of a customer's staff and the people they speak to is described in the MILO privacy policy. If you use MILO through your employer, your employer is the controller of that data and their privacy notice applies.

4. How we use it
- To respond to your enquiry and to correspond with you afterwards.
- To manage our relationships with investors, partners, advisers and suppliers, including due diligence and contract administration.
- To operate this website, keep it secure, and diagnose faults.
- To understand, in aggregate, how the site is used, where you have consented to analytics.
- To comply with legal and regulatory obligations, including company law, anti-money-laundering rules and record-keeping requirements.
- To establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
We do not sell personal data, we do not share it with advertisers, and we do not use it for automated decision-making that has legal or similarly significant effects on you. We will only send you marketing where you have asked for it, and you can opt out at any time.
5. Lawful bases (UK GDPR)
| Purpose | Lawful basis |
|---|---|
| Responding to your enquiry | Legitimate interests (running our business and answering the people who contact us), or steps taken at your request before entering into a contract |
| Managing investor, partner and supplier relationships | Performance of a contract, and legitimate interests |
| Operating and securing this website | Legitimate interests |
| Analytics | Consent, which you can withdraw at any time via the cookie settings link in the footer |
| Legal and regulatory compliance | Legal obligation |
Where we rely on legitimate interests we have considered the impact on you and concluded that our processing is proportionate and would be reasonably expected. You can object at any time (section 10).
6. Who we share it with
We share personal data only where necessary, and only with organisations that are contractually bound to protect it:
| Recipient | Purpose | Location |
|---|---|---|
| Amazon Web Services | Hosting this website and our email and business systems | United Kingdom (London region) |
| Microsoft | Business email, documents and calendars | United Kingdom and European Union |
| Professional advisers | Accountants, solicitors, auditors and insurers, where needed to run the company or to complete a transaction | United Kingdom |
| Analytics provider | Only where enabled and consented to; named in the cookie policy | See cookie policy |
We may also disclose data where the law requires it, to regulators and authorities, and to a prospective buyer or investor in connection with a financing, merger or acquisition, in which case this policy continues to apply until you are told otherwise.
7. International transfers
We store and process personal data in the United Kingdom wherever we can. Where a provider processes data outside the UK or the European Economic Area, we rely on the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum, adequacy regulations, or another lawful transfer mechanism.
8. How long we keep it
| Data | Retention |
|---|---|
| Enquiries that do not lead to a relationship | Up to 24 months from our last correspondence, then deleted |
| Investor, partner and supplier records | For the life of the relationship, and afterwards for as long as company law, tax law and limitation periods require (generally six years) |
| Web-server logs | A short operational period, normally no more than 90 days |
| Analytics data | As set by the analytics provider and described in the cookie policy; withdrawn consent stops further collection |
9. Security
- This website is served only over HTTPS.
- Business systems are protected by multi-factor authentication and access is limited to the people who need it.
- Data held with our providers is encrypted at rest and in transit.
No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your personal data we will notify you, and where required the Information Commissioner's Office, without undue delay.
10. Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- have data erased, where there is no good reason for us to keep it;
- restrict or object to our processing;
- receive your data in a portable format; and
- withdraw consent, where processing relies on it, without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
To exercise any of these rights, email info@ask-milo.ai. We will respond within one month and will not charge a fee unless a request is manifestly unfounded or excessive. We may ask you to confirm your identity first.
You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would welcome the chance to address any concern first.
11. Cookies
This website does not set any cookies unless you accept analytics. Our cookie policy describes exactly what is set, when, and how to change your choice.
12. Children
This website and our services are directed at businesses and are not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16.
13. Changes to this policy
We will update this page when our practices change and revise the date at the top. Where a change materially affects how we handle your personal data we will make that clear on this page and, where we hold your contact details, tell you directly.
